A husband can function perfectly well in the outside world. He can hold a job, manage money, and navigate complex systems. But inside the home, his confidence often outpaces his awareness.
The wife notices this early.
Not because she’s controlling — but because if she didn’t, nothing would happen on time, nothing would be where it belonged, and nothing important would be remembered twice.
Over time, she becomes the keeper of calendars, contexts, and consequences.
He becomes the provider of confidence, reassurance, and incorrect solutions.
Both are essential.
Both are incomplete.
This book is not about blame.
